Today I shipped out my “Five Little Pumpkins” painting. I have to confess I am a little sad to see it go. It was a lot of fun to create. The painting was based on the children’s poem, Five Little Pumpkins.
When I was in kindergarten I heard the poem and so did Noah. I love the poem, it’s adorable, fun, and it puts a smile on my face.
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate;
The first one said, “Oh my it’s getting late.”
The second on said, “ There are witches in the air.”
The third one said, “ But I don’t care”.
The fourth one said, “ Let’s run and run”.
The fifth one said, “ I’m ready for some fun.”
“Wooooo” went the wind, and out went the lights, and the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.
